What is it?

A program to create a leadership team within the framework of Norkova. Ambassadors help create the friendly and open environment of Norkova events. They help with check-in, answering questions, engaging attendees, and promoting Norkova. The “Vibe Curators” of weekly community events.

Who should join?

Anyone looking to get more involved in their community, who is willing to put themselves out there and engage at events! All ages, genders, backgrounds welcome.

What is the commitment?

To get the full leadership experience - we ask that ambassadors commit to 2 events per month, for a quarter. If you cannot commit to the full ambassador experience, we can work with you to find a happy medium.

Cohort 1: January - March 2026

End of 2025: November + December are loose, pop-in wherever you can!

What is the exchange?

These are volunteer/ unpaid positions - but the beauty is in the exchange! We live and breathe community, so our trade reflects this. The below exchange is for those Ambassadors who commit to 2 events a month, per quarter.

  1. 3-Month unlimited event membership

    1. *includes everything but retreats

  2. Leadership day-retreat at Maple Grove Hot Springs

    1. Date TBD - one Wednesday in February

    2. Hot springs, cold plunge, sauna, good company

    3. Morning volunteering around the grounds (trail marking, nature clean up, etc)

    4. Lunch and goodies provided

  3. Exclusive Ambassador swag (TBA!)

  4. 3 guest passes per month for friends

Training + Kick-Off

Ambassador Kick-Off will be a 2-hour meeting with option for happy hour, on Norkova. The goal is to create a micro-community + support system among the ambassadors! Date TBA, will find something that works for everyone

What this is NOT

Ambassadors are not instructors or space-holders aka they don’t lead circles, teach classes, or lead events. Ambassadors are a staple of our weekly community events to keep the energy flowing and high! If you are interested in being an instructor, we’ll do open interviews sometime in early 2026.

Being an ambassador is not a way to further your business or offering. This doesn’t mean you can’t share with people about what you do and love, but it does mean that when you apply to be an ambassador, it should be for the purpose of getting involved, rather than promoting your business. Norkova is always here to support other practitioners and businesses as best we can - there are other avenues to do this. The Ambassador program is for the community, by the community.

Expectations

  • Arrive at events early to set up. Detailed setup instructions will be provided.

  • Share events on social media and to friends

  • Check-in attendees to events (if applicable)

  • If you cannot lead the event you signed-up for, shift coverage is your responsibility. We’ll have a group chat and contact list to help with coverage!

  • Stay for the entirety of the event (unless discussed with Kate or Tom ahead of time) and close up after the last attendees leave

  • Engage and be “on” at events. This means if your friends are there, make sure your consciously engaging the other people and not getting too distracted. Of course we want you to have fun and hang out with your peeps, but Ambassadors have a certain role and need to navigate leading and being social.

  • Communicate any issues, feedback (positive or negative), or experiences of note at the event to Tom or Kate
